Former long-time UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko unexpectedly offered to complete the trilogy with the current title holder Alexa Grasso in his homeland - in Kyrgyzstan.
Let us remind you that on September 17 at the UFC Fight Night 227 tournament, Grasso and Shevchenko had a rematch, which ended in a draw. This result allowed the Mexican to retain the championship belt.
“I think it would be fair to have a third fight with Grasso in Kyrgyzstan on Independence Day. This would be a smart decision. Grasso retained her title on Mexican Independence Day. And if the UFC wants to come to Kyrgyzstan, then they will do it. The country’s government will definitely help them,” Shevchenko said on The MMA Hour show.
