As it became known earlier, the mixed martial arts promotion UFC, owned by the investment group Endeavor, and the wrestling league WWE have officially merged into a new company TKO, the shares of which are already listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
These changes did not bypass Dana White, who served as UFC president; he has now been appointed CEO of the promotion.
“I’m excited about what we’re going to do in the future. After this merger, we became much stronger than we were yesterday. I still determine everything that happens in the UFC, and nothing has changed in that regard. We will continue to kick ass like we do every year,” White said at a press conference in Las Vegas.
