Former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker shared his thoughts on the upcoming title fight between the current belt holder Israel Adesanya And Sean Strickland.

“I'm interested to see how Adesanya adapts to Strickland's style because he's very out of the box. I think Sean showed the best performance of his career in the last fight. It was an extremely dangerous fighter. It will be interesting to see if he can do something similar against Izzy.

Also, do not forget that every middleweight has the ability to knock out the opponent. Each of us hits like a ton of bricks are falling on an opponent. In addition, in my last fight, we saw that courage and determination matter a lot.

So, Strickland has nothing to lose and is a bit of an awkward opponent. In addition, he returns after an excellent performance. So I don't rule out that Sean can come out victorious from this fight," Whittaker said in an interview with Fox Sports Australia.

Recall that the fight between Adesanya and Strickland will be the main event of UFC 293, which will be held on September 10 in Sydney, Australia.
