Former UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira shared his thoughts on a possible fight with the former belt holder in the light heavyweight division Jiri Prochazkoy.
“I always try to analyze something when I help prepare for a fight. In this case, I helped Glover Teixeira. So I studied it and saw some things. And I can tell you that this is a tough fight.
However, I think Blachowicz is a tougher opponent for me because of his wrestling skills which make things more difficult. Everything will be different with Jiri, he will fight in the standing position. I don't think he's one of those guys who go out to fight. And he opens up. This is a dangerous fight, but it is more convenient for me than Jan,” Pereira said in an interview with the Laerte Viana YouTube channel.
Pereira made his light heavyweight debut on July 29 at UFC 291, defeating the aforementioned Blachowicz via split decision.
