Former World Heavyweight Champion Tony Belew spoke about the situation around Dillian Whytewho passed a positive doping test on the eve of a rematch with Anthony Joshua.
“If he failed the steroid test, then he should be disqualified for life. I would be shocked if it was steroids, but if so, then the punishment should be the same for everyone. Anyone who fails a steroid test should just be kicked out of boxing forever. Trust me, once they suspend one for life, it will stop.
But you have to prove beyond a doubt that they took steroids, as you did with Jarrell Miller. A perfect example of when you need to be disqualified for life. If a large amount of steroids is found in someone's body, and there is no doubt about it, then disqualify them for life, period! Bellew wrote on his Twitter page.
Recall that White passed a failed doping test, due to which his rematch with Joshua, scheduled for August 12, was canceled. Now A.J.'s opponent will be Robert Helenius.
