A few days ago Shakur Stevenson appealed to the WBC, urging the organization not to allow Devin Haney move up to light welterweight for a fight with Regis Prograis. Devin, who is the undisputed lightweight champion of the world, responded to Shakur, asking him to "don't cry".
“Niger, where were you when you had an offer to fight me... You know I have something in mind. Stop whining WBC, I'm back at lightweight Gangsta," Haney wrote on social media.
Recall that the confrontation between Haney and Prograis is scheduled for October 28. At stake will be the WBC light welterweight belt, owned by Regis.
