On September 23, the former contender for the world light heavyweight title will have his next professional fight in London Anthony Yard (23-3, 22 KOs), who will face Ricky Summers (19-3-1, 6 KOs). The Briton will box for the first time since the January defeat from Artur Beterbiev.

The 31-year-old boxer recently received an offer to cross gloves with WBA Light Heavyweight Champion Dmitry Bivol at Matchroom Boxing, scheduled for October. Judging by this information, Yard chose a different path.

The Englishman was also recently scheduled to fight for the vacant European title against Daniel dos Santos, but also turned down the opportunity. The main event of the September evening of boxing in London will be Joe Joyce's rematch with Zhilei Zhang for the interim WBO heavyweight belt.
