Rodriguez and Lopez will fight for the IBF belt

On August 12, Oxon Hill will host Premier Boxing Champions, the main event of which will be a fight for the vacant IBF world bantamweight title between Emmanuel Rodriguez (21-2, 13 KOs) and Melvin Lopez (29-1, 19 KOs).

Previously, the holder of this title was Naoya Inoue. Rodriguez was a former world champion in the same division. For Lopez, this will be the first championship fight in his career.

On the same evening, Gary Antoine Russell (16-0, 16 KOs) will fight with Kent Cruz (16-0-3, 10 KOs), and Travon Marshall (8-0, 7 KOs) will face Gabriel Maestre (5-0-1, 4 KOs).
