Volkanovski plans: operation and another fight this year

Alex Volkanovski, the current UFC featherweight champion, after defeating Yair Rodriguez, spoke about his plans for the current year.

“I will have surgery when I get home, but I plan to have another fight this year. I plan to keep fit during rehabilitation. So I'll be back pretty quickly," the fighter said.

Recall that the confrontation between Volkanovski and Rodriguez took place this morning as part of the UFC 290 main event, ending with the victory of Alex by TKO in the third round.
