Lawler on retirement: 'Unknown awaits'

Former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler commented on his decision to leave professional sports.

The 41-year-old Ruthless will fight his last fight against Nico Price at UFC 290. The tournament will take place on the night of July 9 in Las Vegas.

“The feeling that my hour has come came to me with time. I have been doing this for a long time and have achieved a lot. I felt fear of ending my career. There awaits the unknown.

I have been training and performing all my life. But now I can train for fun again. When I train for a fight, I feel worse. I torture myself and have always done this, but now it’s harder for me to recover, ”quotes the American MMA Fighting.
