Former UFC champion Tim Sylvia believes he would have beaten another ex-title holder in a leading promotion in his peak form Francis Ngannou.
“I don't think Francis is that good. He is a monster with heavy arms, but his punches come from the hips, he swings them wildly and madly. He will beat you, you will sleep, but technical fighters like Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic will hit him again.
At the peak of my career, I would have destroyed Ngannou. If we fought right now, he would defeat me. If we could go back in time and I would be at my best, he would be at my best, I would destroy him. He's too wild. I was more technical than him,” Sylvia said in an interview with Submission Radio.
Earlier it became known that Ngannou and Derek Chisora could fight in Saudi Arabia.
