Volkanovski backs Topuria's candidacy
UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski said that he was ready to share the octagon with Ilya Topuria, but now his thoughts are completely connected with the upcoming meeting with Yair Rodriguez.
“I think this is a great fight and a lot of people will like it. I want to get new names and stay active. There was a time when I wanted to fight with the first numbers in the rating, but now I have cleared the division.
Everyone is delighted with Toupuria, but right now he has to worry about Rodriguez. I see a much greater threat in him than in Elijah. So I plan to take care of Rodriguez, but I want to stay active after that,” Volkanovski said in an interview with DC & RC.
