“I watched the fight several times and still don’t know what happened,” said Alain Babich (11-1, 10 KOs) in an interview with "Boxing News" almost two months after losing the fight for the WBC world title in the bridge weight with Lukash Ruzhansky (15-0, 14 KOs).

“It wasn’t until two days later that I really realized that I had lost. I failed like I've never failed before. I was ready to lose after a stubborn war, but not in this way. Breaking up with my old coach was not a good idea. In Dubai, everyone treated me well, and I need a strict regimen in the gym. The training camp was so perfect it was too perfect.”

The duel between Babich and Ruzhansky became the main event of the April boxing evening, organized in Rzeszow, Poland. "Savage" lost early in the first round.

“On the one hand, I wanted to box, on the other hand, the Savage lived in me all the time. After this defeat, my life in Croatia became difficult, but I think I deserved it. Until I returned to training camp because I don't know what to do next. I think I will box again in the heavyweight division. I asked Dillian Whyte, my manager, to make a plan for me in the coming months," Babic added.
