After a ten round bout between the WBO welterweight champion Josh Taylor And Teofimo Lopez judges Steve Gray and Joseph Pasquale scored it 95-95. Referee Benoit Roussel favored Lopez 97-93 on the third card. Lopez had a strong finish and won the last two rounds on all three notes, winning 115-113, 115-113 and 117-111 in the end. However, had Taylor managed to win in either the eleventh or twelfth round, he would have retained the title with a tie.
