Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) before the December fight with Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) would like to enter the ring in August. Paul Malignaggi advises AJ to refrain from such a move.

“Joshua has already passed his peak, but not in terms of skill, but in terms of the will to win and willingness to participate in hard fights,” said the former champion, now a boxing expert. - Watching AJ with Franklin, I got the impression that he already had such an attitude that if you just win the fight, then everything will be fine. I also had this in my career at some point - I felt that I could win in a bad way, because I still have a name, and I will still get fights for big money.

“If I were Joshua, I would go straight to Wilder, because with his current mentality, he can take a hit in some minor fight - you will go out on a guy who you usually beat, but he is extremely motivated and just fights with all his might strength and can hit well. Everyone hits hard at heavyweight,” Malignaggi said.

According to Frank Smith of Matchroom Boxing, Joshua could be between the ropes on August 12th. Dillian Whyte (29-3, 19 KOs) is currently the favorite to play AJ's opponent.
