Davis cleared of domestic violence charges

WITH Gervonts Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) dropped charges of domestic violence. Boxer was arrested in this case in December last year. The woman who reported the incident ultimately decided to drop her charges. Thus, the world champion in three weight categories withdrew from all legal proceedings.

Davis was recently sentenced to 90 days of house arrest and 200 hours of community service for an incident in November 2020. The American became the culprit of a car accident in which several people were injured, after which he fled the scene.

"Tank" has already fought two battles this year. In his last appearance in the ring, he beat Ryan Garcia ahead of schedule, and his next fight is scheduled for the fall.
