Former UFC heavyweight champion and PFL fighter since yesterday Francis Ngannou responded to criticism from Conor McGregor.
Earlier, the star Irishman expressed the opinion that the Cameroonian made a huge mistake by leaving the biggest promotion.
“It was easy for me to ignore the criticism because I knew what I was working on. I knew that a better contract was waiting for me. I knew that everyone was discussing me without understanding the situation. These were just reactions to some rumors.
People can't know if you're right or wrong when they don't understand, your vision is in it. They can't put themselves in your place," Ngannou was quoted as saying by MMA News.
Recall that on May 16, Ngannou announced the signing of a contract with the PFL. The debut fight is scheduled for 2024.
