Rematch Alvarez-Bivol 16 September

Revenge between Saul Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) and Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 11 KOs) will be held on September 16. Bivol's WBA light heavyweight title will be at stake in the fight.

Canelo confirmed right after Saturday's victory over John Ryder that a rematch of his last year's fight would take place in mid-September. In the first fight, Bivol won by unanimous decision. It was Canelo's first defeat in the pro ring in nearly a decade.

It was assumed that the second fight could take place in the second middleweight limit, but in the end, the Mexican decided that the rematch would take place on the same conditions as the first fight. The fight will be broadcast on the DAZN streaming service.
