Fresh off his hard-fought victory at UFC 288, Belal Muhammad declares himself "the best welterweight in the world." Despite taking the fight on short notice, and dealing with injuries, Muhammad credits his faith in God and unwavering support from his team as the keys to his success. "You guys have no idea what we went through to get here," he said during the post-fight press conference.

UFC President Dana White promised Muhammad a title shot, which he eagerly anticipates. In a perfect world, the welterweight contender hopes to fight in October in Abu Dhabi, but he remains open to any location. "We can fight in enemy territory, friendly territory, or no territory," he stated. "Just give me a cage and some gloves, and I'm ready to throw down."

As for potential opponents, Muhammad has his sights set on both Leon Edwards and Colby Covington. "Both of those guys could taste my fists, and I'll be happy with either one," he said. Muhammad's versatile fighting style allows him to adapt to various opponents and situations, and he is confident in his abilities. "I can do all the mixing," he added.

In addition to his physical prowess, Muhammad credits the spiritual cleansing and increased focus he experiences during Ramadan for his recent success. "I'm at my purest form right after Ramadan because that's when I've gotten closest to God," he explained.

As the anticipation for his title shot builds, Belal Muhammad is prepared to continue proving his dominance in the UFC's welterweight division.
