“If I lose this fight, my career is over,” says Saul Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs), who returns to his homeland tonight after eleven years to fight John Ryder (32-5, 18 KOs). The famous Mexican defends the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO belts in super middleweight (76.2 kg).

“Every fight is a threat, so I trained 100 percent. And when I'm healthy, motivated and training 100 percent, no one can beat me, ”added Canelo.

“This is a special evening for me. This is where I started, just in a small room. Now I'm back, but now I'm in a big stadium. I had to deal with organizational issues a little more, but I am very glad that I can speak here again. If I lose, I'll hang up my gloves, but I'm going to perform for a long time and make my own story. The immediate goal is Ryder and a rematch with Dmitry Bivol in light heavyweight,” added Alvarez.
