Former World Champion Tony Belew shared his thoughts on the impact Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) to British boxing.
“The only boxer to regularly sell out big stadiums in the history of boxing is Anthony Joshua. As he began to show himself, he took up Saudi Arabia and opened a market there that no one had touched before.
I'm not saying that he should be mentioned at the same time as Muhammad Ali, but Anthony changed boxing for boxers from Britain the way Ali did. I was here before Joshua came along, I was here during his peak and rise - boxing changed with him," Belew said in an interview with Up Front.
