British heavyweight Tom Aspinall expressed the opinion that the division champion John Jones hang the gloves on a nail after the next fight.
“I always said that Jones would face Miocic and end his career. Everyone is talking about the fact that he signed a contract for six fights. So what? This does not increase the chances that he will fully work out this agreement.
A guy like Jones doesn't need to fight someone like Sergei Pavlovich. He no longer wants to fight young opponents. Hand on heart, you don't have to blame him for this. He has nothing more to prove. This guy has achieved everything in sports,” Aspinall said in an interview with Michael Bisping’s YouTube channel.
Recall that in March, Jones won the vacant heavyweight title by defeating Cyril Gan via submission in the first round.
