Chatri Sityodtong, head of Onechampionship promotion, says his organization has pulled out of talks with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
“My meeting with Francis lasted almost three hours yesterday. ONE has decided to withdraw from the process of signing Francis Ngannou. After careful consideration, we have decided not to make a final offer. Francis is a good guy and a great champion. I wish him continued success and happiness. In the end, I didn't feel that Francis and I were in complete agreement on non-financial matters. Nothing personal here. It's just a mismatch."
