Four weeks ago two-time Olympic champion Robeysi Ramirez (12-1, 7 KOs) won the vacant WBO featherweight belt, and on July 25 he will make his first defense. The Cuban will perform at a boxing evening in Tokyo on the undercard of the fight between Stephen Fulton and Naoya Inoue. The challenger will be a local boxer, ranked twelfth in the Organization’s rating, Satoshi Shimizu (11-1, 10 KOs).

Ramirez got his professional title in a duel against Isaac Dogboe, whom he defeated by unanimous decision.
