Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) completed preparations for Saturday's Knockout Boxing Night 27 and will appear in Poland in the next few hours. In the first fight after signing a promotional contract with Boxxer, the 29-year-old boxer will face the invincible "Ukrainian Hulk" at a boxing evening in Rzeszow Igor Shevadzutsky (10-0, 8 KOs).

“I'm looking forward to Saturday's fight, but I'm also looking forward to what comes next. I'm going to beat the Hulk and then I'm ready to fight all the big names in the heavyweight division," Bakole told Sky Sports.

The boxer, who lives in Scotland, said that he would like to fight with the newly minted holder of the WBO interim heavyweight belt Zhang Zhilei. A boxer from China on Saturday unexpectedly won against a previously undefeated Joe Joyce.

“Joyce made a big mistake in this fight. He hoped that he could stand in front of Zhang, exchange blows with him and not be shocked. He paid for his mistake, he may not have taken Zhang seriously, but now he got what he deserved,” Bakole added.

“I would agree to a fight with Zhang without blinking an eye. I am 100 percent ready for this. I don't know him, but I can fight southpaws. I think I will give him a lot of problems and, perhaps, I will win ahead of schedule, ”Bakole said.

The main event of the boxing evening in Poland on April 22 will be the fight for the WBC belt in the bridge weight between Alain Babicz (11-0, 11 KOs) and Lukasz Ruzhansky (14-0, 13 KOs). Boxing fans will also see a fight for the European heavyweight title between Frenchman Dylan Bregeon and local Michal Cieslak.
