“A rematch with Canelo is an option for me if he does not choose another opponent, because I am not going to wait for him,” said Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 11 KOs), WBA light heavyweight champion.

Saul Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs) will defend all four of his super middleweight belts on May 6 in Mexico against John Ryder (32-5, 18 KOs), and then wants to have a rematch with Bivol, again within 79.4 kg, but this time the Russian prefers to fight for Alvarez's titles in the 76.2 kg limit.

“I don’t know what his real plans are, but I won’t wait for him and go my own way. If he wants it, we can have a rematch, but he already had such an opportunity, and he did not use it. However, this time we will meet at his weight, super middleweight. After the fight, I don't want to listen to any excuses," Bivol added.
