Lomachenko called the Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate a pillar of Ukraine

Former World Champion Vasily Lomachenko rekindled social media. Akkermanets posted a post on his Instagram, in which he called Metropolitan Onufry of Kyiv and All Ukraine a pillar of the country.

“His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine is our pillar. Peace to all! With God!”, – wrote the boxer.

It is worth noting that this Onufry represents the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate. Therefore, Lomachenko's post caused a wave of indignation among Ukrainians.

Recall that Lomachenko's Instagram page is not available on the territory of Ukraine.
