Former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier thanked Conor McGregor for seriously influencing the careers of two of his close friends.

“He elevated two of my best friends. Two guys that I love, that I appreciate more than anyone else. He elevated Khabib to the rank of superstar, and Poirier to a level of fame that Dustin could not even dream of before.

So he helps not only himself, but also the guys with whom he enters the octagon, especially those who can defeat him, ”Cormier said in an episode on the ESPN MMA YouTube channel.
