WBC, WBA and IBF world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) and Keith Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs) can fight on June 17 in the USA. The meeting is scheduled in the second welterweight limit.
This fight was originally planned for February, but Spence's unsatisfactory physical condition forced the organizers to postpone it to another time. In this fight, the belts of the 32-year-old boxer will not be at stake.
In his last professional appearance, Spence defeated Yordenis Ugas by TKO. Thurman returned to the ring in February last year after more than a two-year hiatus and won on points against Mario Barrios.
