July 25 in Tokyo Naoya Inoue (24-0, 21 KOs) will meet with the WBC and WBO world champion in the super bantamweight division Stephen Fulton (21-0, 8 KOs). Previously, the fight was planned for May, but the Japanese got a hand injury.
Inoue, 29, recently officially vacated all of his bantamweight titles. The Japanese in the July duel with the American will fight for the world champion belt in his fourth weight category.
Fulton won on points against Daniel Roman in his last appearance in the ring. Inoue last fought in December, knocking out Paul Butler.
