Chimaev predicted a rematch between Pereira and Adesanya

Undefeated Swedish UFC welterweight Khamzat Chimaev shared his prediction for the upcoming title rematch in the middle division of the promotion between the champion Alex Pereira and former title holder Israel Adesanya. The meeting of these fighters will take place on April 8 at the UFC 287 tournament in Miami, USA.

“I don't think Adesanya can win. If Pereira starts wrestling more in the training camp, he will win. Now Alex has a zero fight, ”Chimaev said in The MMA Hour show.

Recall that in November last year, Pereira knocked out Adesanya in the fifth round and became the new champion. Prior to that, the Brazilian twice defeated the New Zealand Nigerian under the rules of kickboxing.
