Tim Tszyu (22-0, 16 KOs) scored an early victory in the ninth round over the former world champion Tony Harrison (29-4-1, 21 KOs) and won the vacant "interim" WBO junior middleweight title in the main event of the evening at the Kudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

Harrison tried to keep Tszyu at a distance with his jab, but the Australian managed to deliver powerful accented blows to the target and send the enemy to the floor in the ninth round. Harrison was barely able to get up to the end of the count, but referee Danrex Tapdasan decided to stop the fight at 2:43. At the time of the stoppage, Tszyu was leading 77-75 on all three judges' maps.

In the next fight, Tszyu will have to face the absolute champion Jermell Charlo.

After the victory, the son of the legendary Kostya Tszyu began to shout “What is my fucking name? Tell me, what the hell is my name?" (What's my motherfucking name?)
