Top Georgian fighter of UFC bantamweight division Merab Dvalishvili shared his emotions after the victory over the former Russian champion Petr Yan. The fight headlined UFC Fight Night 221 in Las Vegas.

“I'm so proud to be able to do this. This fight was so personal for me, you have no idea. My team said I had to stay professional. Of course, I held back in the cage.

I proved everything again! Again! And I'm hungry! Thanks to everyone, glory to Ukraine, glory to Georgia, glory to freedom, no war,” the Georgian said in a post-match interview.
