Fury demands 70/30 in his favor
Tyson Fury spoke about the fight with Oleksandr Usyk and declared that he deserved a 70/30 division of the total fee in his favor. In the latter, there were many statements from the promoter of the Ukrainian, while Fury himself was silent. Finally, the WBC heavyweight champion spoke up and openly explained his position.
The Englishman agreed to share the profits equally when the fight was to take place in the Middle East. However, when it was announced that the Saudis were not currently in a position to organize this duel and the only option was the UK, the "Gypsy King" demanded a much more favorable division and estimated Usyk at 30%.
“Usyk’s team demands 50%, says Tyson is greedy. But I think that Usyk and his team deserve 30%. You either take them or you refuse. Do not want? Fight Daniel Dubois at the Copper Box for a few million dollars. If you want more, fight the Gypsy King. But then, for every day, starting from today, as long as you think, I will take one percent of 30. If you don’t want to, fight Dubois for two million dollars. No problem. But how dare you demand anything from me? This will not happen. Tick-tock, tick-tock, ”Fury said in one of the social networks.
