Amosov: "Don't forget about the war in Ukraine"

Yaroslav Amosov successfully returned to MMA after defeating Logan Storley by unanimous decision at Bellator 291 in Dublin. The welterweight champion defended his title in his first fight since fighting with the Ukrainian army against a massive Russian invasion.

28-year-old Amosov had an almost flawless fight, which all three judges scored in his favor with a score of 50-45. The Irpin resident dedicated his victory to Ukraine and, in an emotional speech after the battle, said that he returned to performances only to remind the world of the ongoing Russian aggression against his native country.

“Ukrainian people, I love you,” Amosov said after the battle. - Yesterday was exactly a year when the madman Putin went to war against my country. He wanted to kill children, ordinary Ukrainians. I want to thank the Ukrainian army for protecting my country. Thanks to all those who help my country. Please don't forget what's going on. Because today this madman attacked Ukraine, but we don't know what he will do tomorrow. Glory to Ukraine!"
