Foster and Perot win

O'Shaky Foster (20-2, 11 KOs) won by unanimous decision Ray Vargas (36-1, 22 KOs) in the main event of the evening in San Antonio. The American won the vacant WBC super featherweight title.

29-year-old Foster forced the Mexican to defend, remained active and physically pressed the opponent. Vargasa was never able to oppose the opponent's attacks. After twelve rounds, the judges scored the meeting with a score of 116-112, 117-111 and 119-109.

Cuban heavyweight on the undercard Lennier Perot (9-0, 6 KOs) won by TKO in the eighth round Viktor Vykhrist (11-1, 7 KOs). The WBA Fedelatin belt was at stake. Vychryst was able to shake Perot in the third round, he dictated the pace and was ahead of Perot until Perot was able to land an accurate blow to the body in the eighth round. Vykhrist turned sideways to the opponent and stopped defending, and the referee stopped the fight at 2:28. At the time the fight was stopped, Vykhrist was leading on two maps 68-65, 67-66, Perot was winning 68-65 on the third map.
