American middleweight fighter David Benavidez estimated his chances of winning the fight with the WBC, WBO and IBF world champion in the light heavyweight division Canadian Artur Beterbiev.
David believes that Arthur neglects defense quite often, and therefore he has no doubt that he could have performed much better than Beterbiev's last opponent, British Anthony Yarde.
“Betrbiev really stays open very often. I feel like I could do a lot better with him than I did with Yard. I would like to fight Beterbiev in the future. He leaves his body open and I can hit him with many different combinations,” Benavides said in an interview with FightHype.
Recall that the fight between Beterbiev and Yard took place on January 28 in London, Great Britain. The representative of Canada won by technical knockout in the eighth round.
