Oscar De La Hoya desperately looking for a rival for Jaime Mungii (41-0, 31 KOs) and once again was invited to the fight Gennady Golovkin (42-2-1, 37 KOs). De la Hoya also shared news about a long break in his career Jermalla Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs).

“Munguya's fight with GGG is really possible. I think they both need to somehow prove their worth. This fight would be perfect for both of them. We have already contacted Golovkin's people, and I really believe that Munguia is ready for this fight. My goal for 2023 is to make Jaime the best boxer and lead him to the world title. But most of all I want him to fight Golovkin,” said De La Hoya.

More than a year and a half has passed since the last fight of Jermall Charlo, the holder of the WBC middleweight belt, which annoys De La Hoya, because his ward is number one in the rating in this weight category.

“Dammit, why is the WBC on Jermall Charlo’s side? He hasn't defended his title in 18 months, guess who's number 1? Munguya! De La Hoya said on his Twitter.
