Yaroslav Khartsiz makes his professional debut

On January 28, as part of the Knockout Boxing Night in Poland, the professional debut of a successful Ukrainian lightweight will take place Yaroslav Khartsiz. His opponent will be local boxer Marian Vesolovsky (2-3-1, 2 KOs). Yaroslav will start his career in the professional ring under the auspices of the promotional company of the Klitschko brothers K2 Promotions.

Behind 25-year-old Khartsiz is a big career in amateur boxing. He is a three-time champion of Ukraine in lightweight, finalist of the European Championship, winner and prize-winner of numerous international competitions. In 2021, the Kharkiv resident represented Ukraine at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Despite his pro debut, Khartsiz plans to combine professional boxing with performances in the National Team. Khartsyz also often acted as one of the sparring partners of the WBO international title holder and the fresh European EBU lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk.

“I have long dreamed of making my debut as a pro, I want to please the fans with good boxing! I went through a big school in Olympic boxing and I think that I am ready to start the path to the belts! I am glad that we were able to agree with Alexander Krasyuk, I believe in him as a professional in his field. I feel comfortable living in my country and representing courageous Ukraine around the world! On January 28, my first step in this direction will take place, ”said Yaroslav Khartsiz in an interview with the press service of K2 Promotions.

"Welcome to the K2 team! In this difficult time, we must move forward and glorify our state with sporting achievements. Yaroslav is a bright representative of the new generation of boxing Ukraine, so together we will make efforts and continue to glorify our country on the world sports arena,” commented Oleksandr Krasyuk, CEO of K2 Promotions, commenting on the signing of the contract.

The boxing show Knockout Boxing Night will be co-organized by international boxing matchmaker TBG Matchmaking.
