Parker confidently beat Massey on points

Former World Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker (31-3, 21 KOs) defeated Jack Massey (20-2, 11 KOs) by unanimous decision on a boxing evening in Manchester. After ten rounds, the judges gave the victory to the New Zealander with a score of 97-93, 97-92 and 96-93.

As expected, Parker used his experience to outmaneuver an opponent who had spent most of his career at cruiserweight. Massey was penalized one point in the eighth round. Thanks to this performance, Parker was able to close last year's loss to Joe Joyce.

Also that evening, heavyweight prospect Fraser Clark (5-0, 4 KOs) won another professional victory. The 31-year-old Briton defeated Kevin Nicholas Espindol (7-7, 2 KOs) by technical knockout in the fourth round.
