According to the head of Matchroom Boxing, the fight between Canelo and the Brit could take place in London, Las Vegas, Mexico City or Abu Dhabi. The venue for the fight for the IBF, WBO, WBA and WBC super middleweight belts owned by the Mexican should be officially confirmed in the coming weeks.
Ryder, who defeated Zach Parker in his last fight, is the interim World Boxing Organization champion and will fight Alvarez as the official contender for the full WBO title.
