Strickland to replace Gastelum in UFC Fight Night 217 main event

Just today it became known that Kelvin Gastelum was forced to withdraw from the fight against Nassurdin Imavov. According to the fighter, he received an injury, the nature of which is not disclosed. At the same time, a little later, Gastelum himself posted a photo in which he was without one tooth.

The promotion quickly found a replacement for Gastelum and saved the main event of UFC Fight Night 217. Imavov’s new opponent was Sean Strickland.

Recall that the tournament UFC Fight Night 217 will take place on January 14 in Las Vegas.
