Former World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) will have his next fight in March-April. According to Malik Scott, the favorite for the role of the Bronze Bomber rival is Andy Ruiz Jr. (35-2, 22 KOs).

“It will be either a secret rival or Ruiz,” the Alabama giant’s coach said in an interview with Best Sport Betting Canada. "Because Joshua still hasn't made up his mind and doesn't want to fight Deontay, it's just Ruiz or this mystery guy."

“I’m not as sure about this mysterious guy as I am about the fight with Ruiz. From a business standpoint, it will most likely be Ruiz,” Scott added.

The fight between Wilder and Ruiz was recently designated by the World Boxing Council as the final eliminator. At the moment, Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) is the owner of the WBC belt in the royal division.
