Former UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov confirmed rumors of his complete retirement from mixed martial arts.

In his social networks, the Russian made a repost of the corresponding entry.

“Khabib is leaving the MMA industry to make ends meet. This applies to the coaching career and everything else related to MMA. The reason is Khabib's desire to devote time to his family," the message says.

Recall that Nurmagomedov hung up his gloves in the fall of 2020 with an impeccable record of 29-0. After his retirement, he developed his Eagle FC organization and coached his friends and relatives.
