Former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis announced his readiness to become a rival Jake Paul in his debut MMA fight.
Yesterday, the popular 25-year-old blogger and boxer signed a contract with the PFL mixed martial arts league, according to which he must compete twice this year: in boxing and in MMA. Paul has already challenged Nate Diaz, but Pettis is ready to take the place of his compatriot if he refuses.
"Welcome to PFL, Jake Paul. I would be more than happy to welcome you to the MMA league if Nate is not available," Pettis tweeted.
Note that the best times in Pettis's career are long gone, so Paul is unlikely to be interested in him. Since moving to the PFL in 2021, Showtime has managed only one win and four losses.
