Victim and alleged assailant in a case involving Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) make conflicting statements. In mid-February, "Tank" was due to appear in court in another case, also related to accusations of domestic violence. But a week and a half before the fight with Hector Luis Garcia (16-0, 10 KOs) Davis was arrested again.

"Please help me. I am trying to get back home. I have a child in my car and he attacked me. Help me, because he will kill me, ”there was a recording of a conversation between a woman, allegedly the mother of Davis’ child, who contacted the police.

Presumably, Davis hit the woman, and after a forensic examination, it turned out that he had a small abrasion on the inside of his lip. The boxer was released from custody after posting a bail of $1,000.

“I have never raised my hand to either my daughter or the mother of my child. I am not a monster. This is some made-up shit,” Davis said in an Instagram post, which, as usual, was later deleted.
