Former UFC Light Heavyweight Championship Contender Anthony Smith believes that the organization has serious problems with refereeing.
“It may seem that in such situations I always sound like a complete hater. I like Paddy, he's unusual. He stands out from the rest. A good fighter, although not an elite one. I like his aggression, I like the way he presents himself in interviews. I don't have any problems with him. But he lost the fight with Gordon with a score of 30-27. I am always critical when it comes to referees and judges, because refereeing is very serious. Gordon deserved to win. Most likely, he will not have another chance like this again. He was deprived of half the amount in the check. We need referees who understand exactly what they are looking at.”
