Tszyu will fight for the interim title on January 28

January 28 in Las Vegas Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) will fight for the interim WBO welterweight belt. The name of the opponent of the 28-year-old Australian is still unknown.

Tszyu was supposed to cross gloves with Jermell Charlo in January, but the American earned an injury to his left hand. It is not yet known when the boxer from the United States, who is the IBF, WBO, WBC and WBA world champion, will be able to return to the gym.

The Australian is the leader of the World Boxing Organization rating. The next places are occupied by Liam Smith and Tony Harrison.
