Makhmudov quickly dealt with Wallish

Arslanbek Mahmudov (16-0, 15 KOs) won Michael Wallisch (23-6, 16 KOs) by TKO after the first round in the main event of the evening, organized in Shawinigan, Canada. The NABF and NABA heavyweight titles were at stake.

33-year-old Makhmudov was very active from the first gong and attacked his opponent with a series of blows. Wallisch fell to the floor twice in the first round, although not all of his opponent's punches were delivered according to the rules. The German decided not to go to the second round.

For Makhmudov, who in his last fights defeated Mariusz Wach and Carlos Takam, this was the third victory this year.
