Saul Alvarez threatens Lionel Messi

Undisputed super middleweight champion Saul Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs) expressed his dissatisfaction with Lionel Messi on social networks. Canelo commented on a short video in which an Argentine football player showed disrespect to a T-shirt and the Mexican flag after Saturday's match at the World Cup in Qatar.

“Messi really showed how he wiped the floor with our T-shirt? It’s better for him not to meet me at any event, ”said the Mexican.

“I respect Argentina, but he must also respect our country. I'm not talking about all Argentines here, but only about him," Canelo added.

Argentina won the match 2-0. The last group matches between the two teams in Qatar will be held on Wednesday. Both teams still have chances to reach the playoffs.
